I say the guns either need a stun (up and down at least) or they need more ap in general. i hate having the solely for the sake of mobility

 

lv1 could use some sort of buff. less ap or less startup.

His rushdown is very hard because of how bad the pistols are they're pretty much useless (Except for canceling :smileyhappy:) they need to gain more Ap or stun for like a second or two...

I think most Dante main's would agree.

Have you guys played the DmC demo? His pistols don't really do much..

Maybe they could add a way to charge the pistol like he does in DmC to let it gain some more ap and stun them. I think that would be fair(:

The guns already allow Dante to hit ~180 AP in a combo.  Making them generate more AP would increase this far, FAR too much.

 

Being able to cancel on a whiff would be good, it would reward execution.

Also, you cannot lower the cost of his level one otherwise he would be able to start a combo AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE MATCH and kill you with the combo into level 1.

However, in the demo i noticed you can keep an enemy in the air if you continuously shoot them, so the pistols do have some stun in them

Lol why do you need to buff Dante? He has great range, easy AP hoarding combos and I believe he can combo into his level 1.

He's ridiculously unsafe and has no good approaches?

Here's a fun question: What does a Dante player do against someone who literally just holds L1 all day? Nothing is safe on block to my knowledge, his grabs don't lead into anything (Again to my knowledge), and his ranged moves are only good if you're already comboing the opponent.

I mean really, would it break him to let him bold cancel when he hits a blocking opponent?
Hmmm... actually would that be too much? Seems like that would make him go from really unsafe to one of the safest characters in the game with constant pressure. Ummm... **bleep**. How the **bleep** do you fix this character?
