Best 2v2 Teams

29 replies 777 views Edited Sep 6, 2012
What team do you think will compliment eachother well in a 2v2? For example I was thinking Parappa/Drake would make a great team. Drake could set up his cover and protect Parappa that is AP farming via boombox. Drakes cover blocks any frontal attack if it's not a super. The only way to get pass is to jump. Which is no problem since you know they have to do it you can just read them and react accordingly.

Sackboy + Ratchet & Clank

Set up Ratchet's level 1 super and send him forward with Sackboy's fan. Lacks in short range though.

Radec + Sweet Tooth

Sweet Tooth keeps opponents away from Radec with his shotgun and lunge.

PaRappa + Nariko

PaRappa locks one opponent into a combo with Nariko not far behind, the other opponent tries to free his teammate and Nariko uses her level 1 super for an easy double kill. Pretty good short range + mid range combination as well.

Jak & Daxter + Sir Dan

Use Jak's mass inverter to set up any of Sir Dan's supers. Because opponents are stuck in the air, Sir Dan will get a lot of easy kills here.

I think Parappa is very team oriented lol. His quick jab string will lock anyone down long enough for you to come up and lvl 1 the enemy.

Fan is great for setting up supers.

- Speeds up timed supers like PaRappa's skateboard and Fat Princess' chicken

- Gives mobility to certain supers like Ratchet's level 1 and Kratos' level 1 and 2.

- Great for giving your teammate a running start for a combo.

Bounce pads allow you and your teammate to get a jump boost. Great for dodging timed supers.

Spider web can lock opponents. Useful for aerial combos and certain supers like PaRappa's and Sir Dan's level 1.

Sackboy is a very good defensive fighter with his respawning tool and bounce pads.
