You can actually care for the characters.

Three flashy super moves instead of one.

Story mode has dialog.

Stage obstacles can be turned off so competitive players can't complain.

NO CLONES.

Lol @ this thread. Of course this game could be better. They don't have to come up with any of their own ideas, they just add more to Nintendo's ideas.

I personally think the using supers as your only killing option could be terrible, but I'm hoping to be wrong.

I don't see the issue with SuperBot using SSB as an inspiration, especially considering they're working on adding to the formula that Nintendo made (something Nintendo themselves has barely done with SSB).

Also, Super-only kills are terrible in concept, but then again so is a reverse percent system that increases your character's knockback from being hit, so it's a bit of a moot point.  In practice, the Super system is really well thought-out according to quite literally 99% of the people that have played it.

I don't think its silly that the inspiration behind this game is SSB, but I'm not convinced that this game will be better when my KO options go from 60 something to 3.

With a reverse percent system players don't widdle down a health bar like every other fighter. It adds many options to score KO's. There is also the recovery aspect, which helped create the first fighting game of its kind. I think the fact that the series has captivated people for this much time speaks to the formula being right before players added seemingly endless depth to it. In SSB, players can score different, new types of KO's every time they play a match, creating a fresh experience that keep people coming back. The PS All Stars specials are definitely well designed, but I'm curious to see if they will still be cool the 100th time.

The characters are all very unique and feel like they're from their own games

Some of those points are like "Ratchet & Clank is better than Gears Of War because you can jump".

One of the most stupid topic I've ever read.

1. I think that depends on how you play in Brawl. That instance does happen to everyone though.

2.Same as my anwser for #1. If the Super Attacks did take away from the game, it would be because the CPUs focus too much on the Super Attack item when it appears. In Versus Mode, you could always disable Super Attacks.

3. Don't know if PASBR enables throwing options, but SSB does, so that would be 3 imo.

4. I don't think this will be applicable, only because I think that there will be a set of characters that will be noob-friendly and spammable (as with any other fighter).

5 & 6. I agree, though there could be a self-destruct feature when playing in teams in the form of "friendly fire' (of course, something like this might not be put in the game just because).

7. Don't even know what that is.

Of course, these games are supposed to be different in their own right, so there's little reason to compare them imo.

Each character has their own story mode.
No wasted roster spots.
Yay I can jump with x instead of ^ . Lol
Stage Mashups
Don't have to worry about falling off (most of the time)
Anti-camping.
Well balanced.
It's on playstation haha
Many more game franchises represented.
More attacks.
Combos.

Some reasons are my opinion so yah.

I smell fanboy. Also, some of those points are simply wrong but who cares.
