I think Crash and/or Spyro would make the best BANG for a secret character.
Maybe Calypso from Twisted Metal will make an appearance! Who knows!
i think they need some secret characters too but no one thats going to make or break sales. crash and spyro should be revealed a head of time so people stop complaining. i could clearly see a character like kevin butler being a secret though. Not too many people are suggesting him but fans would freak out when they unlock him

The would be nice... then people would be like: "He's in it?!" Then get the game
Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I don't mind a few secret characters but i believe for marketing purposes they should be revealed in a protected way before the game comes out. For example, with Smash Bros Brawl, they allowed fans to see who the secret characters were before the game came out, but kept them secret to those who didn't wish to be spoilt. I hope they do this if there are any remaining characters, so we can satisfy both those who want a surprise and those who just can't wait.

Not that it would matter anyway. Within 12 hours of the games release, the intrnet would be flooded with the complete roster, even if the only way to unlock someone was by playing 2000 fraking matches.
