Not at all. I base my purchases basically on the amount of time it takes me to make the money for a game I'm interested in versus the amount of time I'll likely spend with the game. I make 60 in 3 and a half hours. I'll probably spend at minimum 500 hours with this game based on my anticipation for it and my time with the beta, and twice that depending on DLC. I think I'll get my money's worth lol. Reviews are one man's opinions but I don't share the same interests as the majority of the general public and hence, reviews don't influence me or my decisions to purchase things. In fact, after playing many games that have less than favorable reviews (Gravity Rush got a 6 somewhere), I often find myself disagreeing with a lot of points. Reviewers are usually pretty negative unless it's the tried and true.

I don't have any memory if there was ever reviews that considered my purchase. By that, I mean even once. So I'll say no because I know there are some PS3 games I intend on getting which didn't affect me.
As for reviews. I think it'll most likely be when the game comes out. Some of them actually do that but it could be days before the game comes out or when it actually comes out.
