Nope just tried having my Bro connect to me ethier on Ps3 to Vita, Vita to Ps3, Ps3 to Ps3 or Vita to Vita and nothing can't connect.

they should've included an offline multiplayer. (at least on the vita beta) just to make sure it was running smoothly offline as well as online
