Ello' peeps! Im here to bring up something that really irks me about the build soo far..

The announcer. I just.. idk. his voice is nice and all, but it makes the game feel childish and kinda lame honestly.. i was hoping for a more techtonic feminen voice, think the voice that says "Devil May Cry" when you press start. THAT voice. thats a hype **bleep** voice. Or..and dont flame me, Linda Hunt. You know, Gaia, that amazing voice is like the female Morgan Freeman in my eyes, its soo amazing, and is part of the reason GoW 2 is amazing. 

Another topic someone else brought up, was the "One!" "Two!" "Three!!!" voiceovers. It doesnt help when their are 4 people.. perhaps include an option that makes it only say yours? Just an idea.

Also, the Main Menu. Yes, i KNOW its a beta build, and im sure the launch menu will be cool But.. i do indeed hope its not jsut that blue particle effect in the backround, ya' know? i was hoping for like.. comic art style sprites of the roster in the backround arranged in a neat composition and manner. Perhaps changing the largest one according to what you select, (and i would say the characters used for the large sprites would either be the big names [Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Drake, Ratchet, Jak, etc.], or the original 6 + however many needed per menu option)

Again, these are just my preferences, and ive always been a kind of prgressive technology attitude. I like new stuff, better graphics, all that jazz. (off topic, but my hope for humanity is to live in citys such as the sci-fi future japan style enviroments found in many animes and movies). Buttttttt i digress x)

How about you guys? anyone else agree or share the same feelings as I? If not, feel free to comment your ideas and thoughts!

In what way, Nocturnal__Gamer? compared to the current voiceover its a big step up. I just grit my teeth at the current one.. makes me feel like im playing some children's game. It might not help i hate the name of the title as it is.

remove the "Battle Royale" part, it sounds stupid, lame, and just cheesy!

I agree with removing the last part but for the most part the current voice excites me to play the game. I wish he said the characters names when you select them.

I can agree with 'ya there. when he says the title, I really can't take it seriously.

To make the announcer only call out your own Level is a horrible idea, because if he's only calling out your own Level, others will destroy you with Level 3's and you'd never realize it.

Most Def! dont get me wrong, the voiceovers the characters say CAN be neat (Sweet Tooths come to mind. "Nice choice" is just awesome ;D)

although.. Kratos' are just...ehh..come on.. im well aware of his personality, but no need to make such cheesy and lame voiceovers.

honestly im kinda 50/50 on it now. i liked Smash's style of saying the persons name, however, if dont right, the self introduction from characters can be good to.

I dont know about you, but ive been trained enough from Smash and other fighting games to be able to use both peripheral and quick glances to check teh opponents status. not only that, but do you notice how the actual character glows a brighter baby blue aura as he gains supers?

I think it should say the name then the number of your ap ex: jak 3

I don't mind the voice too much, but I get you. And I definitely agree on the menu. I hope the final version is flashier. Like MK's menu was great, even MvsC3's menu wasn't that bad, despite the game being disastrous.
