I don't like using confirms, but set ups are perfectly fine, like dans. I believe kats slide into square is a setup as well, not a confirm, but I'm not completely sure
Most times, it probably will be a setup. It seems to only work as a confirm if you hit the opponent with the tip of her foot and Super right after.
Ive chosen to not use any confirms anymore. Is anyone else deciding to stop confirming?
what does people mean by "CONFIRMS"? are they talking about what i call set-up moves that set you up for a special? what i mean by a special is a finisher, a killer, the end of the line??
anyways do you guys mean the set-up moves that make the follow up unblockable which is normally what combos is, a chain of unblockable moves??
look at it this way, level 1 supers are ment to be a risk to use, which is why people go for level 2 or three because the risk of missing is lower or none at all.
A "confirm" is basically a move or set of moves that you can do before a level 1 or 2 that guaruntees a kill, eliminating risk of losing your meter.
obviously theres the risk of missing with the moves, but this is talkign about if you connct with ur move, you have a guaruntee kill.
Example A: Evil Coles charged punch - if you get it, you fall to your knees. An evil cole player can then do his level 1 with no risk of missing. Therefore: Kill Confirm
Example B: Sir Daniels up square - Although you can score a kill off this move, if the player air dodges or techs downward they level 1 will miss. Therefore: not kill confirm
hope that helps or clears up things for others
