Re: All-Stars Timeline

remember when people said there weren't enough ps1 reps? even ps2? well this list proves superbot did an awesome job at balancing each platform (with the exception of fat princess, but i guess she can fall in the ps3 category as well)

6 ps1 characters

6 ps2 characters

7 ps3 characters

1 psn character.

Ah, those were the two "gray areas" I came across when putting this together, as a matter of fact.

While I did notice the 1994 date with Tekken, that was the date of its arcade release, and I wanted to use the date it first appeared on a PlayStation console (in this case, March 1995 on the PS1) so as to better align with the history of PlayStation characters.

My reasoning for Big Daddy's date... kind of contradicts with what I just said, but eh.  Unlike the arcade version of Tekken, the 360 version of BioShock was basically the same game as the PS3 version and it was already completed; it just didn't release for another year.  I know it's not very sound reasoning, but I still think the date works somehow.

Oldest character in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale... Polygon Man.
I hate Signatures because I can never tell if it's apart of their post.

Looking back at it, I totally would've added Polygon Man if it weren't for two unfortunate things:  he's never appeared in a real game and he's never had an official PSASBR render.  Maybe both of those could change soon? Smiley Surprised
