Here's my input on the matter, DLC isn't exactly a bad thing, it's the company's way of saying they want to keep their game alive by adding more content for people to keep playing, thing is though I don't think it's a good idea to charge people for it, why do I have to pay $5 for extra content for a game I payed $60 for? I think it's worse with alternate costumes I find it stupid to charge for things like costumes, some games had it right before like the first Dead Rising for example, all the DLC was free, the first Bioshock the DLC was free, and the first Infamous the only DLC avalible was completely free and that's how it should always be, I bought the game, why do you charge me for extra stuff for the game? This is why I praise Namco for making Tekken Tag Tourniment 2's DLC completely free, in fact the DLC doesn even show up on the PS Store or Xbox Marketplace, they patch the game with it it took developers a few years but Namco finally struck gold with that because I've said plenty of times in the past whether it's on a forum site or on Youtube, you don't need to charge people DLC to get more money from your game, if you make the DLC free then ya know now a days you're more likely to sell more copies because consumors will feel relieved that they don't have to buy stuff for the game so yeah, to me Namco is doing what every other company should've been doing with their games for the past few years now and I love them because of it.
