A pattern I've noticed with the stages

[ Edited ]

Ok, this might be nothing, but I've noticed a trend with all the stages.

They're all mashups of course, but I think that each franchise represented will get it's own stage as the main part and then another franchise mashed up with it, and then their franchise will join a second stage that is mostly a different franchise.

For example:

Dreamscape is a Little Big Planet representing level.

Little Big Planet is also represented invading the Sly Cooper level "Paris" (The Negitivitron shows up)

Another example:

Hades - obviously God of War inspired.

Metropolis: A R&C level being INVADED by the Hydra from GoW

This has applied to all revealed stages so far, except for Sandover Villiage, Dreamscape, and Hades since they were invaded by Hot Shots Golf, Buzz, and Patapon, but those are probably the only exceptions and they revealed those stages first so that they wouldn't ruin any character reveals early (As well as with the music that RumbaLumba uploaded from the hacked beta, they also follow this pattern)

This also means that if this is true, we have yet to see stages representing DMC, MGR, Fat Princess, Medievil, whatever game Toro is from, Heavenly Sword and Tekken, and we have yet to see invasions from DMC, Fat Princess, Mediveval, Toro, heavenly Sword, Parappa the Rapper, Uncharted, Ape Escape, and Tekken.

Sorry in advance if this has already been posted before

Re: A pattern I've noticed with the stages

I only expect (and by expect, i mean that in a demanding manner), there to be one stage for each character at LEAST. It only makes sense, gives the character a  "home" of some sort.

Also, i forget where, but wasnt there a rumour of somesort that the Loco Roco stage was a triple Mash Up? (A giant city from some game, Shadow of the Colossus, and Loco Roco). If true, this, in theory.. opens up more space for game rep!

I'm not sure if every character will have a stage. I don't see a fat princess anywhere and the game will have 14 stages at release from what I've heard

I didn't hear that rumor, but either way it's not true.  Here is a full gameplay of Franzea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD0vRDJXhkU

It's just a mashup of Loco Roco and Metal Gear Rising

It is, but it's mainly a Loco Roco stage, and it's invaded by MGR.

MGR does't have it's own stage, however.
