they didnt sell the rights....universal owned them, and combined with activision. so activision gained the rights. sony NEVER owned their rights.

personally i want etna, kazuma, sora and ty. i think they ar eall playstation mascots, however they have to get the rights to use them. who knows if that worked out or not.
