A different~ish way to approach ragequitting

[ Edited ]

Guys, I think i’ve got a simple solution to ragequiting and the solution is to just keep track of who disconnects their ps3 (I mean aren’t they the one who/m interrupt the matches by unplugging their ps3s?) and the in-act punishments depending on how many times they rage quit.
track things like this as data: was their ps3 abruptly turned, as in not through the power,, where they losing the match, and what was their belt
If they ragequit make them be the only one to lose BP not everyone
the punishments should be gradual not instant

they lose 10 BP for ragequiting once
20 twice
40 three times
45 every-other time after
five times they get a warning about losing the ability to play online and bullet point four

six  can’t play online for one day

seven they can’t participation in tournaments and bullet point five
eight the two above and they’re current character loses 100 levels (locking off unlockables in the process.)

Here’s a video to better explain my thought process on this-

So any ideas on how to improve this little system of mine?

Hmm, I do feel your right, but I just can't think of something better than kicking them from online play...:smileyfrustrated:

At the same time, they are kind of abusing that right, maybe 24 hours would be better suited, but still, it's not like they weren't warned.
