100s of hours of unlockables?

8 replies 326 views Edited Dec 11, 2012
I remember when superbot said this but I didn't have backgrounds and emblems in mind.....

I have no incentive to unlock anything after level 100. By then u have all costumes, taunts, intros and outros. I don't care for any backgrounds or icons tbh.

They should have other stuff
exp. Lvl 500 unlocks the polygon version of the character.

Now I know superbot wanted people to gain access to costumes easily but it's 1 thing to get people the costumes easily and another is getting people to come back to keep playing.

Anyways thoughts?

Kudos for the Polygon man unlock thing. Nice idea.

I don't generally want to level up because it is a boring task just to get some unlock item or asset. The unlocking should be "natural" and progressive.

I even find finishing the story mode of each character a chore just to get the trophies. Maybe that is because the story mode altogther is very disappointing for me beyond a few cut scenes.

I agree that it should at least take more effort to unlock all the character specific taunts and such but they are easily unlocked by playing arcad about three times

yeah the lvl 300 unlocks are a bit.. Well.. Annoying? Since there's nothing to unlock for SO many levels.
I would've loved to see minions a bit higher and costumes as well. You get it all so fast and then it's like "on to the next character" unless you like the character, like I like Nathan Drake and have him at 320ish.
I don't play much, but the games I've played online has been with him.
I don't see myself playing that much with any other character. The levels will come through party weekends with friends, not by me sitting here and playing by myself.

I couldn't care less about the "business card" stuff. The character stuff like intros and taunts are cool to unlock though.

U get the only unlockable costume at lvl 10. That takes like 5 mins to get.

I like showing off things other people don't have because they are hard to get. So when people see u with this "special" costume there like O_O **bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep**!!!!!!!!!!!!
