FAT32 is faster, but less stable. When you unproperly shut down your computer from windows - for example - just hit the switch - the FAT32 files can easely get fragmented and mixed up.

NTFS is slower, more stable. And even if you accidently hit the power button while you're still in use of the drive, it won't fragment the files nearly as much.

Ok for PS3's which format style do you need? Fat32 or NTFS?  Or does it even matter?
