I opened one of my 160 gig holiday bundle ps3s. It comes with a free so many month psplus code. Anyhow the only way you can redeem it is by allowing your credit card to be on the system again. It got hacked once and I had to go thru this crap with getting new card and protecting my credit and this and that. Why in the heck do i have to put a credit card back on this system. What is the purpose if this psplus is supposed to be free?

In the final days, I was told its going to be nation against nation. Maybe the internet is how it begins? My definition of the internet: the netter of souls, the job cutter, profit maker, file seller, Online market.
To start with, the credit card is generally used to verify your age. Once it's been verified you can remove the card information with no problem. The code still gives you PS Plus for free.
