It's to help save you're ass from losing $60-100+.

I didn't know that when loading a map on RSV2 would have to access the HDD. So I turned off my PS3 straight from the back... and the hard drive failed =[. And I had to ask my parents to help pay to buy a new hard drive. We bought a 120gig. For $60. I thank my parents soo much ;P

Anyways, that light will save your ass for sure. Do not turn off you're PS3 whenever the light is flashing / on.

I knew some of u were going to think it was a dumb question, but when I saw it in the book I figured it was the hard drive. Its just that you would think it would flash when I'm saving something not all the time.

I think you just wanted to bump an old thread. Seems to be a newbie hobby. If you really wanted an answer you would've read some of the replies.

I read all the reply's but im just trying to figure whats wrong with my ps3 because its doing that but it finally managed to start the game up but took 20 minutes too
