v2.40 update went fine for me, I got it at around 8:35pm 07/01/08. I thought that I might have some issues when my screen poped to white for an instant at startup after the update but all was fine.
But I was annoyed that the update decided to group my demo games into 2 seperate folders when it had not done this before... It made me think that it had deleted them until I found out what had happened. Although when playing with the Group Content button the XMB/console decided to freeze, had to restart the console and so far not a problem yet...only those two screen freezes after 5min of install but got past that and things working fine. Even went out to play GT5P online to see if things still worked and they did, still got booted by some guy in the HIGH Speed Ring with just the two of us in the race but no update can fix lack of driving skills....LMAO...
