Sony

Not to be favoring or anything, but Sony is making wise decisions. You never want to rush on things( not saying they need to be perfect). Truly if they released these things quickly, it could drop profits. This has to be looked at from a business view too. You never know what Sony has(true secret weapon?) you'll never know

Re: Sony

I can't say they are making wise decisions, but I do not see what other people are talking about how they screwed themselves over. People selling there PS3's and not buying them because of a lack of games obviously have never looked at the holiday lineup or the spring lineup, after that hits PS3 will have many games.

They shoulld have had a few more games produced between now and the launch but that isn't a big deal if they deliver this holiday.

not really, but they didn make a smart choice letting MS and Nintendo take the spotlight with teh games this fall, but once thier main exclusives are done, in 08 Sony is gonna dish out major pwnage with noting from the competition to stop them

Half of that is because there is no real killer exclsuives that can break Sony away from the microsoft crowd, the other half of that is when killer exclusives have been announced Sony hasen't hyped them. It all comes to marketing and sony has failed.

Remember to take things in this (and other) forums with a "grain of salt". They may or may not have the console, or have done what they posted. Many post negative propaganda so others will get GOOGLE hits when searching (doing research) for information on the PS3 - and they just assume that what they're reading is true.

Also, due to the "viral" nature of internet information (whether true or not), they hope it spreads like wildfire across other boards, "proving", to themselves, their reasoning and argument.

Re: Sony

I get worried that the PS3 is gonna be the next Saturn.  My theory on how to boost appeal is to quite releasing info on games 2 years in advance.  Pop us some surprises.  MGS4 has been previewed so much that there's not gonna be much left.  Remember when MGS2 came out?  Nobody knew about Raiden untill they took it home and played it, that's the kind of things we need right now.
