First off i am helping a friend out, his slim PS3 out of the blue has no video but has audio. He tried 2 different HDMI cables in all port, component video, av cables. We tried to hold down power button for 5-10 seconds to reset default settings. That did work because when i plugged it in on my tv it was fine, but didn't know it worked till i got to my place his tv must have issues??? Its a SONY Bravia 40s3000

Hdmi ports are fine tried other things in them they worked
