I just bought a Ps3 and i was playing it for a couple days. then when i went to turn it on, it would turn on but nothing would show up on the TV. I've only ever used AV composite cables, and im not an idiot all the plugs are plugged in. i unplugged everything several times and reset it but nothing works. Please help

in case you misunderstood, which is possible, there will be one beep of the system turning on, hold it down until you hear the 2nd, should take like 3-5 seconds

Nope i got it. Thanks though. it does sound confusing. I'll post on this when i try it to tell people if it worked or not.

Yup

[Project_Ares]

You need to reset your display.

Make sure the PS3 is in stand by mode. (red light) Then press and hold your finger on the power button. you hear it beep.......then it beeps again. Now your Display is reset. The PS3 will now walk you through the display setup process. Simple Fix
