PS3 Help!

32 replies 1 views Edited Sep 26, 2007
My PS3 always worked. No problems what so ever. I buy Madden 08, put it in, play about twice, then I go to try it again, and I get no video. I get audio on my smaller TV and no video. I get nothing on my bigger tv. I've tried all those reset proceses, but nothing works. I try NHL 08, and the same thing. I buy the new cables with the OFC, but nothing. Not sure what there is left to do. And I really don't want to have to fix my PS3 some how, because I wouldn't want to turn it in some where. Any help?

Explain exactly what you did when you tried all those reset processes.

I turned off the power on the back, turned it back on, then held the power on the front for 5 seconds. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and then turned it back on. But still nothing. Anything else I should try?

I'm not sure what happened, but i had my HDMI connection go out for a couple of days, twice. I used the composite cables for a few days and tried the HDMI again and everything was fine after a while. I did nothing to try and fix it, it fixed itself. I think it may be a problem with the TV and PS3 not being happy with each other.

I've tried two tvs with two different cables. I'm getting audio with both cables on tv but no video. And then I'm getting nothing on another tv with both cables. Its on the right settings as it was before, but nothing has happened since. So, I'm not sure, I'm getting sound but no video.

What kind of cables are you using exactly? HDMI, composite or what?

I was using the regular cables that came with it, but that didn't work. So I thought maybe it was the cables, bought the Oxygen Free Cables, and they aren't working. So I'm not sure whats wrong.
