PS3 Blu Ray Drive busted...

3 replies 88 views Edited Dec 26, 2010

Well...I have a 40 GB PS3 and the Blu Ray Laser or whatever is busted, again... It broke before and I sent it in to Gophermods, they fixed it and it worked great! Now, oddly enough at the end of their free 1 year warranty...It breaks again... I don't want to buy a slim that much, I like the older versions better because the gloss goes better with the TV and such. Was the part I got just not as good? Should I send it in again or just get a new PS3?

Buy another and save up some cash to get your fatty repaired at a later date.

OK this is very easy to fix if you  order one from online it will be much cheaper for you to fix it  yourself. But if your not good at that type of thing i strongly suggest  you send it in to Sony for a repair it cost alot more but it's safe if  your not a computer wiz. The Gamers Fix.com has Bluray Drives with  Lasers for $86.99 full package.

P.S  If your Laser is still operational you could just buy the Drive and put  your laser on the new drive for a even cheaper price of $39.99 & if  the Laser is the only thing not working on your drive a new laser is  just $35.99....(^_^)
