My PS3 was stolen a while back, and now I can't authorize my new one!

Hi,

I'm having trouble authorizing my new PS3, as my old one was stolen and I never had to chance to de-authorize it.

What can I do? Do I need to set up an entire new account to get around this? (I'd really rather not).

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Frank

PS - When I go to System Activation, it tells me it can't activate this system as the other still needs to be deactivcated - which if I could, I WOULD!

Oh no! It's unfortunate to hear that your console was stolen.

I would suggest contacting customer support right away. They'll try their best to resolve the issue!
