Mouse and keyboard controls during gameplay

Why can't mouse and keyboard control be put into FPS games like Far cry2, Resistance 2 , i enjoy this option on the pc,

you would think it could be added in as they are USB optional. Mine are and they work in the interface but not in

any games , very unfortunate , unless it is game companies that have to put them in during development, or possible patch.?

It would be a nice additional feature to games I'll agree but if the games are multiplatform one argument might be "just buy it on PC then".

Also, the devs choose to include it or not. Unreal Tournament 3 has the option.

Sony or whoever is responsible is making a huge mistake not supporting keyboard/mouse. PC games

are no longer any fun to play online because of all the cheaters. I bought the XFPS rateup adapter and it

works OK on COD4 and fair on Resistance 2. If they are hysterical about making regular pad users mad just

have separate servers. I use KB/Mouse (rateup adpater) in COD4 and I never dominate playing online.

Actually I have been very impressed how good most players are.
