So I have a backwards compatible 80 Gb Playstation 3 (model CECHE01) whcih I got on Ebay last year and have had the Blu-Ray lens replaced on shortly after I got it. It has worked fine ever since, but for some reason I am having issues playing SPECIFIC PS3 DISCS and can't figure out why. The only games I can't even get the system to recognize are Resident Evil 5 (original edition) and Bioshock 2, plus it will not read my Blu-Ray version of the films "Drag Me to Hell" and "Tropic Thunder" and when I got a Netfilx disc of the film "Up" it wouldn't play either. This is confusing because I have many other games (MGS4, the original Bioshock, God of War 3, Batman Arkham Asylum, LittleBigPlanet, InFamous, Red Dead Redemption, etc.), and several other Blu-Ray Movie Discs (The Dark Knight, Pineapple Express, and I get Netfilx Blu-Rays constantly), and these games and films ALL PLAY PERCECTLY. When I was playing these two games a few months ago they were working fine, and then I didn't play them for a while, and when I came back to trying to play them again just recently when I put in a disc for said game the indicator on the XMB says that it's trying to read something but never pulls up anything for them. I tried to take all of the info for these two games off and reinstall them, and when I did this for RE5, it INITIALLY recognized the disc again, but as soon as I took it out and tried to put it back in the same issue happened. I have already tried to go to the Restore System and fix "corrupt files", and if I can help it I would really rather not reformat my entire PS3 to fix this, but I'm at a loss. Also, EVERY SINGLE PS2 and PS1 (as well as regualr DVD) I put into it pulls up and plays fine. I never have issues with skipping, error messages, freezing, nothing like that either. I know several updates have happened since earlier this year and I don't know if that is what is causing the issue, but if anyone could give me some advice of insite I would greatly appreciate it.

Please put some paragraphs into your paragraph. Thanks.
Yes that was hard to read. Are the discs clean or scratched? It's odd that some work & not others. The non-working ones must have something in common.
