Input Not Supported PS3 to Acer Monitor

3 replies 7457 views Edited Nov 18, 2008

Hey everybody, I know that there are already a kagillion threads on this already, but I get an Input Not Supported message when I have my PS3 hooked up to my ACER P191W monitor. It has a standard 1440 x 900 resolution. Here's the kicker. I can play Madden 09, but with no sound, and nothing else. I cannot play any other games or any movies or even see my settings on the home screen. When I put something else in my PS3, the screen changes when the game loads, but then it just goes back to displaying that input not supported box that bounces all over the place. I have a DVI/HDMI cable and my monitor box has HDCP on it underneath the DVI logo. Any suggestions or comments?
