I have a 46" XBR2 Sony BRAVIA LCD. I can't be more happier with it!

Get an LCD...

no, every DLP i see in the stores are a little more fuzzy lookin mostly i think cause it is projection, do this test that i think works great look at the TV like 1 foot away from the screen you can see the diffence then and you will see the LCD comes out on top. i was acually doing this today and i figure if i can tell the diffence from 1 foot away as much as i did i might as well get the LCD looks alot better

I personally prefer the picture on a DLP, but like has been said the bulbs need to be replaced every few years...though the price difference between that and a LCD of similar large sizes renders it moot as DLP's seem quite a bit cheaper...at least around here.  I just jumped on a 56" DLP set on thanksgiving...couldn't be happier so far.

No, they both have thier advantages and disadvantages.

Search it up on Google for their differences, I'm sure you'll find an article.

you can replace the bulb yourself and save yourself some cash and by that time your warranty will be up anyway. the difference is it's the mirrors.

That is a horrible way of testing, as you'll never be that close to the TV.  Test them at the distance you'll actually be viewing them at.  LCD's main advantage typically is longevity and being truly flat...very rarely is it the PQ.
