so i just got a slim because my old ps3 died.  however i cant get the controllers to sync.  every time i start it up the lights on the controller just keep flashing. so i have to plug it into the ps3 and keep turning it off and on till it finally syncs, and than when i take a break for a little while i have to go through the entire process again. it is VERY annoying, any help?

the problem seems to be in the new firmware. got it in both my slims after update.

got better now, but i suppose we'll have to wait for the next firmware update.

I believe it is becoming a common problem. Mine never gives me a problem when I plug in controller with usb then start ps3 with ps button wait until controller lights stop flashing then remove usb cable and should be good to go. A little annoying but works until they fix it.
