yes that is the one try cutting it off make sure it look's like it has a bend on it that is how far you have to cut it

I'm looking at the cable right now. The end that goes in to the power/eject board looks fine. No fraying. It only has an indentation where the clip locks it in place. The end going in to the MOBO looks kind of weird...  Has an indentation as well, but it also looks like some of the gold is off 2 of the pins. I would probably cut this end down. How do I get it out of the MOBO? I don't want to just pull it out unless that's how it's supposed to come out. Also, the bend in my cable is in the middle of the ribbon so I don't think I'll be cutting that far. The actually contacts themselves don't take up too much room either...

You may want to buy a new ribbon if is kink that far in the middle there is a few web sites that sells them
