ahhh. filipino huh? well, from my studies also.
most of the 60gb launch ps3s get the ylod.
no surprise there. every technology or hardware has some issues if its the first batch
its with the following batches where the company fixes their faults
my 60gb was purchased december 06. first batch. it got the ylod
my bro and i bought the satin silver 80gb ps3 and the gunmetal grey 40gb.
those are like.. probably a few months old.
im guess is that these bad boys wont get the ylod
So mostly all of the 60 gb's have the YLOD. I been looking around the forums and also other forums
that mostly all 60 gb's die on average of 2 years because of the YLOD.And other 60 gb will die eventually
Is the 60 gb only the defective console which has the bad power supply?
Its only 161 PS3s so far (out of atleast thousands) and not all of them are 60GB models
Yeah its not accurate at all
its probably less people if you take out the trolls
and the people that posted even tho their PS3 had
another problem and no the yellow light
And theres no need to look at other forums, besides the fact that this is the official forum
theres like 1000 members and 1000 guests using this forum at any given time
and only 161 PS3 reported so far, that gives you a good idea of how small the problem is
that number is not accurate many people do not go to this forums or to any forums. check out other forums too
Thats the thing, forums are here for people that actually have the problem. People with this error are going to come here and ask whats wrong. People with working ps3 don't have to worry about this cuz its working.
This is why your "statistics" are greatly skewed because all you looked at were forums (forums that help people)
all i have to say is, my ps3 is a 60gb launch and it has no problems what so ever...knock on wood...
So far, Dec 18th 2008, I do am experiancing nominal preformance. Also knock on wood.
