there are PLENTY of things SONY could change about the XMB that wouldn't be seen as copying, such as fixing the weird things that happen while using the XMB in a game(like when you go to read a message and press O, it jumps all the way back out the message icon instead of back to the message list).

and also we need to be able to use the XMB while in a chat(we need an option for an audio-only chat), being able to chat and nothing else is frustrating

dude thats when you know that you are one lazy puto, like your time is valuable or something HAHAHA

i find it gud as it is, Sony has other important matters to take care of instead of catering to your needs Mr./Mrs.im on a timed schedule

get over it and suck it up, whiner!

so your just gonna sit there and say that since microsoft had a good idea that sony couldnt use the same idea to their benefit.

borrowing ideas for electronics and such are are so common place these days it seems pointless to think in that kind of manner.

let me put it this way if no one ever borrowed and idea from someone else there would be no cordless phones let alone cell phones, or jet engines, etc.

There are plenty of better things (many many on this board) that Sony should add or implement, but Sony will simply not blatantly rip off XLive, no matter how essential to streamlining the PSN it could be, they have to be different, to the betamax death of them.

i dont think that they have to be different, if that was the case they wouldnt have implimented the ingame XMB, we would still be stuck with same game invites, and not even a thought towards in game music (i know not all games have it) hell they wouldnt have even put in media server technology if they wanted to be "DIFFERENT"

i really hope more people are for this idea its seems such a small oversight but would make a really big impact to the users.

I personally LOVE THIS IDEA!

And I love The Editing!

I've had this problem MANY MANY times and I find it quite annoying.

1:You have to click the ps3 Middle Button

2:You have to wait for the XMB to stop lagging

3:smileyfrustrated:croll To the Friends list

4:smileyfrustrated:croll down towards messages

5:Click messages

6:reply to message

7:exit out of XMB

Your 1 idea would replace these 7 and make it 10x easier.

You can easily skip steps 3 and 4, just keep Messages highlighted. That way when you press the PS button, you're already on the Message selection.

Also step 2 is not much of a deal.

You're pretty much left with:

- PS button.

- Click Messages.

- Reply.

- Exit.

It's still 10x harder than simply pressing the PS3 XMB Button.

I have said it before and I will say it again,

Write the code for the way you want Sony to implement your idea and then propose it them, it is easier to edit pictures then to write the code.

Easier said then done.

April 1st 2010 a Day that will for ever live on that 1 man had Sony scampering and showing how scared they truly were.
HIPHOPGUESSER(Gamer) being in HOME just shows you how Desperate Sony is to get people on HOME.
