? I am new to this stuff so sorry for dumb questions

I got a new ps3 in Nov. pluged it into tv with the 3 colored cables and it worked great. played for several weeks. I started to get kicked out regularly it said lost network connt. I sent the unit to my sons house to have him try it to make sure it was my internet and not the unit. He pluged it into his tv using a hdmi cable it worked great no disconecting. Looks like it is my internet.

The problem is now that I have it back I tried to hook it back up to my tv and it will not come on. I tried the 3 colored cable and a hdmi cable same result with both. The unit turns on the light turns from red to green or yellow but no picture on the screen. I tried all video input ports and nothing. So I tried it on another tv in the house and same thing nothing on the screen no sound.

What should I look for or try???/

Welcome to the PlayStation Community.

Every time you move a PS3 from one TV or monitor to another you must generally reset the video/audio settings.

I will try this when I get home from work.

? my tv only has one hdmi input can i just get a splitter and keep both the ps3 and the dish reviever pluged in all the time?

Good question, I'm not 100% sure but I don't see why not.
