I did donwload the update here in vegas about 2 hours ago using cox cable. It did however take several attempts to do so. In my frustration i eliminated the router and plugged my ps3 into my  modem, then it worked like a charm.

nope...  I'm not getting anything here.  I'm just going to download it from one of the links on a thread and put it on my flashdrive
