Wireless controller port #s flashing

[ Edited ]
5 replies 77 views Edited Feb 12, 2013

One of my wireless controllers has all 4 port numbers flashing while the charger indicates the controller is fully charged. note: the system is not on at the time and the charger is charging 2 controllers and both are showing green, as in "fully charged".

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF PS3 WIRELESS CONTROLLERS BATTERIES CAN BE REPLACED? IF SO WHERE AND HOW MUCH.

Apparently it's not synced to your PS3 or it would turn it on. The flashing will stop by itself eventually or if you want turn on the PS3 and connect the controller via USB cable and synch it.

If you still have problems after doing the above, then a controller reset may be in order.

Poke a cocktail stick, or similar pointy thing, into the small hole on the controller's base. This is to the right of the top screwhole on the base.

this solution also didn't work. (only time the port #'s on other controller are flashing is when controller is charging. they stop flashing when charger turns green, indicating controller fully charged).

Have you reset the controller?

Flip it over beside the top screw hole you will see a little hole use a paperclip or something small enough to press the reset button.

Hold the reset for 2-5 seconds.
