Walking Dead stopped working

2 replies 154 views Edited Dec 18, 2012

I was playing through episode 4 of The Walking Dead earlier today, then stopped partway through to watch some TV. When I went to load it back up, it wouldn't let me pick back up from where I was, and only episode 1 was available. Thinking that I had the lost save game bug that was purportedly patched out, I redownloaded my save from the cloud, but it had no effect.

I then accidentally clicked on the "buy game" option on the title screen, and it showed that all the episodes were installed but the first, despite me not deleting anything. I loaded up the Playstation Store and checked my download list. All the episodes were still there but the first. I got episodes 1 & 2 free from Playstation Plus and bought the Season Pass to get the rest of the episodes. Now I can't even delete the game and redownload it to see if that fixes the problem unless I shell out the money to buy the first episode again.

I had the same exact problem. Except, I purchased the season pass. It was on sale. So I can't access episode 1 even though I paid for it. I called customer support and twenty minutes in the lady on the phone was no help. I called back and talked to someone who knew what they were doing. However, he told me he'd have an account specialist send me an email with a code for episode 1. Still have yet to get it.
