Trying to get a CECHB01 20GB PS3 to work with a Wireless Access Point!! Not getting a connection

Ok so I am somewhat of a game console collector and restorer, I have 3 PS3 Original Models which of course are all Wireless 40GB, 60GB and 80GB Models all in great working condition all work fine with wireless.  I figured I didnt have the 20GB model and i got a nice one off Ebay and restored it.  However I have it connected to a Netgear N150 Wireless router which is set as an access point which is then connected via Ethernet to my Netgear n600 router, but I am not getting a connection.  Is it possible to make this work? I realize a wireless bridge is the suggested way but i bought this router because it has all the cool blue lights and figured since it can be converted to an access point i was ok.   I guess not...can i set it up via manual settings?
