I reset both the headset and the usb adapter.The book says the headset will have a solid blue light,but it just keeps flashing.Some people have recommended a usb extension cable.Help?

Which headset is it? Ps3 headset or a pc with adapter?

I have mine on a exentended USB Cable in a mid to high place above my HDTV and it works best like that. It depends where your adapter is, If its too low and your too far it will lose connection and dissconnect. Try getting something like this. Or similar to it but it has to be male to female (of course), Connect your adapter to it and place it in a mighty high place where your headset will easily connect to it. Also place it a couple feet away from your electronic devices (Phones, Modem & Router) as this will cause static disconnecting you from the adapter.

I will definetly pick up a USB extension. I'll try the high place thing,but not sure if that really affects it as the only other electronic distraction is the ps3 itself. My router is very far away. Thanks for actually reading this.

I bought a Usb extension,and it still won't connect.I literally pointed it out my window and it won't connect.Thx anyway.

Mine is doing the same thing. Even worse, it won't respond to the button command to power off. I have to let the power drain just to stop it from going crazy.
