Problems Renting movie

4 replies 133 views Edited Jan 6, 2013

I tried to rent a movie for the first time last night on my PlayStation.

It wouldn't allow me to enter my province or state when I tried to rent And I don't understand why.

It allowed me to put in my other information.

We did not get to watch the movie we want to because of this.

Does anyone know why?

I'm not really sure what the problem was. Did you get an error message? Why did you need to enter your province and state (that info should already be in your account info)?

Have you moved since you activated your PSN account? Some location info cannot be changed on PSN accounts. But I still don't see why that would be a problem (unless you moved to a different country).

No I have not moved at all and there was no error message it just seem to block me from entering It.

Also how long does it take to download a movie from PlayStation I just read online that I can take up to four hours.

Where are you renting this movie?  In the Playstation Store, or in another app such as Amazon Instant Video?

I'm also having issues to rent a movie but it shows me the error message:
"There are no items available for you to buy at the moment"

Any idea of what could it be?
