avail. This is perhaps my final attempt before selling the black ops 2 CD. Any help would be appreciated, I'd hate to brick or ruin my

ps3 over one game. Thank you

I recently (less than 3 weeks ago) bought a new ps3 "slim" 500 GB. Also bought black ops 2.

Black Ops 2 randomly freezes, sometimes while loading maps, sometimes during the after game report (where they show you your kills, medals, etc)

It always requires me to do a hard reboot (switch the ps3 off and then restart it manually.)

Also the game glitches very often, not lag, but the frames skip. After a restart the frames stop skipping.

Haven't had this problem with any of the other games I've played; MW3, Black Ops 1, Gran turismo, Arkham City and Drakes Deception.

I've looked for solutions, there are a few youtube video's that recommend a lens cleaning.

Please post here if you have any solutions or if there are any certain set of problems due to which this is happening.

i m not fimiliar with blackops,

1. what about trying the game on a different PS3, or if you have a friend use his PS3 or borrow his copy.

2. or go to "PS3 Game Data" and deletes BlackOps2 game data if it's on there (NOT YOUR SAVES DATA OF COURSE).

3. if you can't do "suggestion #1", get your self a USB HDD, backup your PS3 then do a HDD Format. or you don't cares about losing saves files then just format the hdd. it will be liked having a fresh PS3 afterward.
