PS3 File System/Hard Drive Corruption Issue

my ps3 had been acting weird for a few days now. sometimes when i turn it of,f it doesnt turn off, the screen goes black and the power button is stays green. When i press or hold the power button nothing happens, so the only to turn it off is to pull the plug. When i turn it back on again, it asks me to restore the Ps3 file system, so i go ahead and press Ok, this process takes quite a bit of time with me, and after its done, the system is supposed to restart, but what happens is the same thing that happens when i try to turn it off normaly, so im stuck in an endless loop of pulling the plug and restoring the file system.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Try Safe Mode. Click the words Safe Mode for a link and follow the video.

I did try safety mode and chose file system restore and it said processing and nothing happens, it was like that for more than 40 minutes.

I love when people leave information out of their post and you waste time suggesting things they already did. :smileymad: Maybe you should wait longer than 40 minutes. Good luck.
