I was playing Dark Souls and I was killed and I spawned and got killed again. I was stuck on the loading screen and my power went out. I started my PS3 when the power came back on and it said "The file system on the system storage is corrupted and will be restored."
Restored it to 94% stay there for awhile then it went to a black screen for an hour or so and restarted back up and I'm back at the same "The file system on the system storage is corrupted and will be restored," screen. HELP PLEASE! D:

|Welcome to the PS Community.
If the system has gone into this loop, it means it can't fix nor recover now now corrupted file system. You can let it keep trying to fix the file system but you will end up having to replace your HDD.
With that said:
- if you've never backed-up your game saves then these are now lost. If you have PSN+ then I hope you have made use of the PSN Cloud save utility.
- Your trophies, those you have synced to the PSN server, are saved and you will get them back.
- You can redownload your DLC [PSN games & add-ons] from your Download List: Sign In/Account Management/Transaction Management/Download List
What you need to replace the HDD

I doubt that you need a new hard drive based on what you described. You probably just need to reformat the one that you have. Boot the PS3 in safe mode, and select option 5, Restore PS3 System. That is the only thing that will get your PS3 working again at this point. Forget about your game saves, and any other data on the PS3 hard disk drive. If you didn't back it up, then it is already lost. Your trophies are safe if you have synchronized them with the PSN servers. You can download any games or add-ons purchased in the Playstation Store again.
