AFter playing maybe like 10 minutes of Black Ops 2, my PS3 immediately shut down automatically and the Red LED light just started blinking. I click On/Off button and it turns solid red. I click it again to enable "On" and it turned green then back to the blinking red and etc.. Plz someone help me try to fix this. I am very very afraid that it might have broke. Plz reply immediately.

Also to let you no. When I turn it "on" for a split second some yellow light shows up and then goes back to blinking red.

Your PS3 has suffered form YLOD, Yellow Light of Death & will need repairing. sorry.

If I remember correctly, the only solution is a new hard drive. Is this correct?

I had a problem like that. Think I had to start by holding the power button until it beeped 3 times and then reformat the system. The new update seemed to be my issue.

Hmmm, generally, actually most of the time, a new HDD or a re-format will not solve YLOD.
