Alright, so here is my deal.
I have a PS3 and no, i don't know what generation it is, only that it is about 4-5 years old. I have never head a problem with it before.
When I try to connect to my wireless network, it gives me an error code of 801313D - which in the past has signaled a DNS error. But if there was a DNS error, then none of the other internet devices in my house would work. But there are 2 desktop computers, a laptop and a tablet all working just fine.
I have contated some PS3 people and they tell me to contact my internet provider. When I contact my internet provider, they send me back to the PS3 people.....
I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE....IT HAS BEEN 3 HORRIBLE MONTHS OF THIS!!
any help would be much appriciated! Thanks!
You are correct that if your other devices work, then there isn't an actual DNS problem, which means that there is nothing that your ISP can do. Did you try to connect your PS3 to the router with an Ethernet cable, instead of by wireless?
