I was looking at my system information and it said I had 11gb left of space on my PS3 so I decided to erase everything afterwards I only had about 84gb left over. But when I check again it said 85gb out of 111gb. So where did that extra 26gb go? I have no videos, music or PSN games on my PS3 anymore only my save datas which I doubt take 26gb. Is their anyway to get that other 26gb back without a full HD format?

There is two game data folders one for saves and one for game installs. IF you have played 8-10 games that could be where that space has gone. The PS3 does take about 10% of the total HD space for maintenance and system use so you will never see 111/111 free. I think my 120 slim had 97/111 when I first bought it.
Did you install home?

Nope I don't have Home installed see no point in it. Well I have nothing in my Game install/Data folder so it can't be that either. Like I said I doubt my game saves are taking that much space.

You never get the full space out of a harddrive no matter what medium contains it. Here is an article explaining why.
