Getting save files from dead PS3's disk

2 replies 77 views Edited Nov 5, 2012

My 60GB is dead. R.I.P.  I"m getting a new slim model, but I want to transfer my saves tp the new system.  If  I get a 2.5" enclosure, I assume the Linux drive would be readable by my OSX computer.  Would there be a way to get the saves off the disk and onto a USB stick that I could plug into the new system and copy onto its drive?

The only way to get anything from your old drive is to get the old system running long enough to do a transfer or back up. Google "reflow"
