Hi,
I need some help on expanding the HDD on my ps3. I have only a 40 or 60G HDD and wanted to upside. I understand I need to get a larger internal hard drive but there are so many on the market I don't even know where to start.
Could someone please tell me the best cost effective Hard drive to expand the ps3 memory. I want someone like a 250g or 500g, nothing smaller. I've seen a few on ebay but I don't want to get the wrong one. If someone could provide a link or give me the details on what is best that would be great!

Western Digital Caviar or Seagate Momentus seem to be popular. For something like this I'd stay away from eBay in favor of Amazon.com or Newegg.com (if you're in the US). Also, if you're in the US, Black Friday is coming - you may find a really good deal. For the time it'll take to change it and negligible price difference between a 250Gb and 500Gb I'd go for the 500Gb. You'll be fine for years.
