Downloading on PS3 insanely slow?

I'm downloading the Dust 514 Beta update software, which is 2277 MB. I'm at 6% with an estimated 410 minutes to go...

This isn't the only thing though. Since I moved into my new house, downloading on the PS3 has been utter **bleep**. This is my internet connection speed:

As you can see, it's pretty good. I even moved my PS3 to be closer to my Verizon FiOS modem/router/whatever it's called, and downloading on my PS3 is still horrible. It's probably worth noting that I have no problem playing multiplayer games online. It's just downloading stuff that takes ages.

Yeah you're not the only one in that boat. I've had to download the update twice already because the first time I downloaded the game and the update, the game was giving me tons of **bleep** with "Unable to connect to PSN" when I'm actually already online... Just now, I'm running with my second time installing the game and I have installed the update and now I can't even **bleep** log in to the game because every time I get to the sync screen it tells me I am unable to connect. It'll sync a little and then it'll stop randomly. Nothing provokes it, it's just totally random.

I've been having this same issue since 10pm est last night. I'm infuriated right now because first, the Dust server down times got in the way of me trying to log on, next I had a bad install of the game, now there's the network maintenance that could be possibly effecting the sync. This game and the network are totally bugged and I'm going to call support tonight once I have some free time. This is absolutely ridiculous.
