OK ... On my old PS3 (Dead now, yellow light) i had a lot of downloaded stuff. To be able to get that downloaded stuff on a different PS3 i simply just have to log-on to my online account, go to the store, view downloads, and i should see a list of all the stuff i have downloaded onto my old PS3.
Since i have done this already with the max amount of PS3's (i think its 4 total), i can no longer download stuff from the "Download List" since the max number of PS3's are already activated to this account. The PS3 tells me i must "Deactivate" one of the PS3's currently connected to this account. Only problem is i dont know how to deactivate a user from a PS3.
Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks !

I had to call sony for the same problem, i got transfered about 3 times till i was on the phone with a specialist who was nice enough to deactivate all my accounts. i had 2 accounts on my systems but i sold one and another broke then i had one account on my brothers and 2 on friends who live near.
i diddnt activate my stuff on my friends ps3s just my brothers this time in case i happen to need a replacement again.
the specialist said that it was a rare request and they dont do it often at all but i sent my console in and they replaced it with a new one so thats the reason why they did it for me.

You do not deactivate a user, you deactivate the system.
Go to a PS3 that you have previously activated. Logon to your user profile, and then your account manager. Go to Activate, and choose game or video, and deactivate the PS3.
Then, go to the new PS3, and logon with your profile, account management, activate, game or video, and choose to activate it.

You're welcome. Ohh, also, you are allowed to have 5 systems activated to your account. Because of that one YLoD PS3, if you were unable to deactivate it, you'll be limited to 4 systems, unless you call and get Sony to deactivate all the systems from your account, then you can just go back to each one and re-activate them.
Perfect, thanks a lot

Whether he meant it for you or for me, he clicked the reply button on my post. Plus, I still gave him the info he was looking for.
