was just wondering if they removed the PS2 system data on the playatation store because i cant seem to find it anywhere, got the old 80gb playstation 3

any help will be appreciated

It is still there, you can search for it. I also believe I saw it under the Apps section...

Just checked again, tried searching it and looked under apps but nothing

Ive been looking around and apparently its not available in europe or something, dno if this is true or not as im from england...

In the US store it is searchable (I searched PS2), and is listed in the Apps section.

Which PS3 model do you have? If you live in Europe only the CECHB 60GB model can play PS2 games and use the PS2 system data. If you have a 80GB European model, it won't be able to use the PS2 system data anyway.

The function of the PS2 system data is to allow PS3s that can already run PS2 games to play PS2 games that can be installed on a hard drive, like Final Fantasy 11. It does not make any other PS3 model able to play PS2 games...
